Where can you admire so many Ducato-based motorhomes? At Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, of course, that fair of wonders held in Germany every year, in late August. Once again, the Ducato was the main feature at the biggest European event dedicated to the world of holidays on the road.
The Caravan Salon is a historic event – its 62nd incarnation ended on 3 September 2023 – and has become more and more of a benchmark for a general public of enthusiasts. The trade fair is also aimed at producers of motorhomes, such as manufacturers and converters. .
FIAT Professional, with a presence at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf on the Stellantis Group stand, had on display a Ducato Van model with full specifications, one of the most popular configurations with customers. The look of the exterior features new full-LED headlights with a black interior finish, which are 30% brighter than their halogen counterparts.
The interior features a fully digital instrument cluster, to provide immediate and clear alerts and practical information about the journey, with great flexibility to meet drivers’ genuine needs. On top of all this, the new infotainment system with a 10” HD colour NAV radio touchscreen instrument panel display, with built-in Apple CarPlay/Android Auto for app mirroring and integrated maps and navigation. The audience also had the option to discover the high level of safety offered by the Ducato, courtesy of the adoption of the most sophisticated Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). For example, Adaptive Cruise Control, which automatically sets and adjusts the vehicle's speed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicles in front, as well as the Full Brake Control system, designed to identify not only the vehicle in front, but also unexpected obstacles such as pedestrians and cyclists.
Building on the success achieved at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2023, the Ducato continues its journey of excellence through the world of motorhomes.
