The new year has brought yet another accolade for Fiat Ducato: the Fiat Professional best-seller has won the title of "Best Motorhome Base 2019" for the 12th consecutive time. The winner of the coveted award was selected by the readers of "Promobil", the specialist German magazine that has been a reference point for the recreational vehicle sector for more than 25 years.
Created specifically for motorhomes, the Fiat Ducato base was designed and developed in concert with the biggest European motorhome manufacturers, in what is a fast-growing sector.
Made at the Sevel Sud Plant (Europe's largest light commercial vehicle factory) in the Val di Sangro, it is exported all over the world; its successful features have been continuously refined since 1981 and Ducato is now a genuine trendsetter, produced in over 13,000 variants and sold in over 80 countries worldwide.
