THE NEW DUCATO IN THE SPOTLIGHT AT CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF
TOURING IN A MOTORHOME
The Caravan Salon Düsseldorf is Europe’s leading trade fair for the motorhome sector, drawing in tens of thousands of visitors each year. With its 63rd edition now underway, it was a must-attend event for Fiat Ducato, a partner to numerous motorhome manufacturers and a favourite with over one million motorhome owners who travel by motorhome for their holidays.
The Caravan Salon Düsseldorf (30 August - 8 September) provided an excellent showcase for the new Ducato model: a van model of the popular vehicle, which has been continuously updated since its launch in 1981 and designed to meet the specific needs of motorhome manufacturers and users, was on display at the Stellantis Pro One stand.
The new Ducato, which stands out with its modern front bumper design with a perforated grille, has a state-of-the-art engine, the 2.2-litre Multijet 4.0, which is also available in a powerful 180 HP version. The all-new AT8 automatic transmission, a true masterpiece of engineering now available on Ducato 140 HP and 180 HP engines, makes it a real pleasure to drive. The safety equipment of the new Ducato motorhome was also on show at the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, as was the infotainment, which includes a DAB radio with a 10-inch touchscreen monitor to complement the digital instrumentation on the dashboard.
The new Ducato motorhome base vehicle, prominently featured at the 2024 edition of the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, is now ready to embark on new adventures and become the ideal leisure companion that keeps you safe on the road.
