The new version of the Ducato has burst into the motorhome industry: many of the 2024-2025 models are based on revamped mechanics, as seen at the late summer exhibitions, starting with the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. Since 1981, Ducato has been a trusted partner of European motorhome manufacturers, working with them to provide the best mechanical layout possible. Over the years, motorhome owners have increasingly appreciated the cutting-edge solutions offered by the Ducato Motorhome.
But what's changed now? What’s different about the 2024 edition of the Ducato? Externally, the most noticeable change is the front bumper, featuring a new perforated design on the front panel, a striking feature that immediately catches the eye. The entire bumper has been redesigned, with large body-coloured sections contrasted with black elements.
The side mirrors have been updated, also to improve aerodynamic efficiency. At the rear, you can spot the changed typography of the lettering and logo, now aligned with the brand’s new corporate identity. Additionally, the steering wheel now bears a new logo, enhancing the brand’s identity within the cab.
Mechanically, the most notable innovation is the introduction of a new 8-speed automatic transmission. In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for motorhomes equipped with automatic transmission, and the Ducato meets motorhome owners' needs with the new AT8, which is distinguished by its swift gear changes. The new automatic transmission can be paired with the Euro 6e turbo diesel engines, offering 140 hp or 180 hp, delivering maximum driving pleasure.
The Ducato keeps up with the times: the renewed model features a new bumper and a sophisticated 8-speed automatic transmission.
