If you choose to use your motorhome only in spring and summer, our experts have some suggestions to make sure that you will find it perfectly efficient again after the long winter lay-up
Remember to check the Owner Handbook, a pdf of which can be downloaded from the download area, for more details.
Park your motorhome indoors in a dry and, if possible, well-ventilated place
Engage a gear
Do not leave the handbrake engaged
Disconnect the negative battery terminal and check the battery charge every three months
Disconnect the battery using the master switch (disconnector) if your motorhome is equipped with one. Refer to the Owner Handbook for instructions.
If you do not disconnect the battery from the electrical system, check its charge every thirty days and recharge it if the optical indicator turns dark without the central green area.
Sprinkle talcum powder on the windscreen and rear window wiper rubber blades and lift them off the glass
Slightly open the windows
Cover the vehicle with a piece of fabric or perforated plastic sheet
Do not use compact plastic tarpaulins, which prevent humidity from evaporating from the surface of the vehicle.
Inflate tyres to +0.5 bar above the standard specified pressure and check pressure at intervals
Do not drain the engine cooling system
