FIAT PROFESSIONAL DUCATO VOTED "MOTORHOME BASE VEHICLE OF THE YEAR 2024" IN THE PROMOBIL READERS' POLL, FOR THE 16TH TIME IN A ROW

Ducato is the best base vehicle to be converted into a motorhome, reconfirmed this year in a survey of readers of the German magazine Promobil, a genuine benchmark in the sector. The survey takes place every year, and has now been a regular occurrence for over a quarter of a century. For the 16th time in a row, Ducato has taken the authoritative “Best Motorhome Base Vehicle of the Year” award. A major vindication for Fiat Professional, whose Ducato motorhome base vehicle has been a big name in recreational vehicles for over 40 years.
The heart of the Ducato's success is its strategy of imagining the vehicle as a platform for expansion, from the development phase onwards. Its architecture is rational and professional for business-related activities, but flexible and eclectic for recreational use. For many years now, as well as providing great comfort to people who travel in a motorhome, it has been possible to fit the Ducato with additional electronic driver assistance systems (ADAS). These include Emergency Brake Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Driver Drowsiness Warning, and Intelligent Speed Assist. The FIAT Professional Ducato has been produced for over 40 years at the Atessa plant in Val di Sangro (near Pescara).
The community of Ducato-based motorhome owners has now grown to over 1 million members who travel all over Europe. To give Ducato users peace of mind to enjoy their holidays, for years FIAT Professional has offered a freephone assistance service available exclusively to motorhome owners, in more than 50 countries and 15 languages.
